jeg gjør det enkelt å lykkes med søm

For meg handler søm om mestring, kreativitet og skaperglede. Det å kunne lage noe med hendene i en verden som blir stadig mer digital, synes jeg er både viktig og verdifullt, og jeg tror alle har godt av det. Søm skal være gøy og noe man gleder seg til å holde på med, et fristed der man kan koble av og gå inn i sysonen. Derfor har jeg ikke noe tro på perfeksjon og strenge regler når det kommer til søm, men heller at man skal kose seg med det og prøve seg frem.

Jeg tror også valg av stoffer, farger og snitt har mye mer å si for om man kommer til å bruke plaggene man syr, fremfor hvor pent eller avansert sydd de er. Med Enkel søm ønsker jeg å dele enkle og inspirerende oppskrifter som senker terskelen for å komme i gang.

Jeg håper at kurset og prosjektene i boka lar deg kjenne på mestringen ved å lage noe selv, og at dette blir starten på en helt ny hobby!

My name is Kristin, and you may know me as @vaag.oslo. Since 2017, I have shared sewing, upcycling, and sustainable fashion on social media, and in 2019 I was a finalist in Symesterskapet on NRK.

I have written two bestselling sewing books, created popular sewing and knitting journals, developed sewing patterns, and held courses and workshops for beginners.
